Read Before Buying
Throughout The Temple Papers, you’ll see me referring to MISERY as the force that turns the engine of money.
We buy food when we’re hungry.
We get a new phone when our old one breaks.
We sign up for a yoga class when we feel restless and sick of sitting on the couch.
Emotions are what make us move—and I’m calling them all “MISERY”.
But why MISERY? Why not JOY?
Is this just pessimism?
Not at all. It’s Buddhism.
Consider yourself warned.
